Description: For over 40 years, Catholic Charities has been providing children and their families with a “Head Start” in life. Head Start is a child and family development program with special emphasis on a comprehensive range of services for children from infancy to 2 years (Early Head Start) and preschoolers 3 to 4 years of age (Head Start), including children with disabilities. The services include health services (medical and dental), social services, mental health services, nutrition services and early childhood education to promote the social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth and development of each child. Families receive experiences and services that help enhance their social and economic self-sufficiency and strengthen their family unity. Head Start serves low-income families that fall below the federal poverty level. This program is free for qualifying families and children.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.

I would "not" recommend for anyone to place their child at this headstart period. The teachers pick and choose what child their going to teach and dependent upon the child, the kids will learn absolutely nothing at all. When I came to the realization that my child was learning absolutely nothing at this school, I made a decision to find him another headstart, who had teachers that actually cared and took the time to understand the child, now my child is doing well somewhere else . I literally would ask daily, does my child have homework, the teacher would tell me she forgot or didnt have my childs homework sheet. My last straw was when I was told tracing was too difficult for my child, so basically the teacher stop giving him his homework based upon, what she thought about my child. How obsurd is that, yet when my sister and cousin who holds a PHD in education sat down with him and he did well. This just let me know, that the teacher took no time in assisting my child or helping him learn the material period. I was ecstatic that he was removed from that hot mess of a so called school.
