Noncompliance Area: On October 5, 2017, during the renewal inspection, a written plan identifying the means of transporting a child to emergency care and staffing provisions in the event of an emergency was not posted at the facility.

Correction Required: A written plan identifying the means of transporting a child to emergency care and staffing provisions in the event of an emergency shall be displayed conspicuously in every child care space and shall accompany a staff person who leaves on an excursion with children.

Noncompliance Area: On 09/12/17, child # 1 did not have written parental consent for transporting in a vehicle owned by the facility.

Correction Required: Transportation by the facility requires written parental consent, except for transportation of school-age children who are transported to or from a child care facility in vehicles owned or operated by the school district.

Noncompliance Area: On 9/12/17, child # 1-9 of mixed ages ranging from older toddlers to preschoolers were being transported with one staff person and the driver only.

Correction Required: The staff-child ratios specified in 3270.51 and 3270.52 apply when infant, young or older toddler and preschool children are transported.
