I'm a Big Brother to a young man I began mentoring in January 2012, when his family lived in Montgomery Village. He now lives in Powell but during our outing today he asked if he could go visit the Montgomery Village Boys and Girls Club to see some of the staff and reconnect with his old buddies. He had a fantastic time playing half court basketball and on the way back to his home he said he'd prefer to return to Montgomery Village for our last outing of the summer rather than go to Pigeon Forge to play arcade games, ride go karts, and play miniature golf. That says a lot about the quality of kids' experiences at this Boys and Girls Club.
