I noticed on my son's daily sheet he had been given medication more than I signed for so I asked the daycare worker to make sure that everyone else also knows my wishes since she said she only gives it to him once. The next thing I know the director called me with major attitude saying I hear you have an issue with medication and said what's the issue. I said there is no issue since I already contacted the daycare worker. She said well since I'm the director it's my job to make sure all issues are resolved so what's the issue. At that point I decided to tell her what happened and she insisted on drugging my child when I asked that he only gets one dosage of medication. She read the box to me at least 10 times stating it's ok for him to take every 4 hours even after I asked that he only takes it once. If she could read she would see that it says ask a doctor based on his age and weight making anything else null and void. She constantly told me you can listen to those doctors if you want to. She also stated she has 17 years of experience watching other children. I have over 30 years of experience watching other children so her saying that means nothing. For someone who does not have a child she's really thinks it's ok to tell me how to raise mine. I don't usually post negative reviews but when it comes to my child I will go above and beyond to make sure he is cared for properly.
Great learning environment for any age.
