Children were not adequately supervised at all times. During my visit today I observed the teacher in the classroom for children ages one year of age putting out children's cots and picking up the classroom while children were sitting at the table eating lunch. During this time her back was turned towards the children and she could not see them. She was the only teacher in the classroom. In the classroom for children ages two through three years of age the teacher was observed turning her back to the children while washing her hands. She was the only teacher in the classroom. In the infant room with one teacher, she was observed feeding a child in the highchair while another child was eating spaghetti in the other highchair. Due to the placement of the highchairs her back was turned towards the child eating spaghetti. | |||

I have used this daycare for many years. My child has free play as well as learning activities. I have been impressed what my child has learned in a short period of time. Teachers seem to be there because they care about the childre . Over the years I have seen directors and teachers come and go this is my 3 child that has attended the center, but this group currently there seem to be the best. Heather has put a lot of time in the daycare and you also see her family working around to keep the outside and inside welcoming. They have put alot of time in the driveway and fixing holes that have been there for years. A big thank you to them as well. Also after storms the debris are always cleared out of driveway with them there. Heather has an assistant Liz which she has trained and does a wonderful job as well. We look forward to seeing her grow and helping keep the center a great place for our children.
