Our son was enrolled at Lefferts Garden Childcare (then Baby Bliss) when he was 20 months old until he was almost three. The caretakers were so kind and present with our son and kept us informed when he was feeling under the weather or had any challenges during the day, which was thankfully rare! They have a great interior play space and safe outdoor play area and seem to keep the kids engaged with a fun variety of activities throughout the day. He came home singing new songs and surprised us when he would point out numbers and letters that we hadn't been practicing at home. Best of all, we were able to build a community with the other parents who we still meet up with on weekends and evenings after daycare for playdates. It definitely felt like a supportive family while ours was out of reach due to COVID. LGC took all precautions to keep the kids healthy during the pandemic and caretakers are vaccinated and wear masks.
My daughter is almost 2 and has been at Lefferts Gardens Childcare (formerly Baby Bliss) since she was 4 months old. I have felt so fortunate to have her in their loving care! The teachers are caring and professional and the facility is spotlessly clean. They have a lovely little backyard where they spend time on nice days. It has been amazing to see my daughter become a curious and engaged toddler through her time at daycare! She has learned important lessons on sharing and interacting with kids of different ages, and also comes home having learned songs, letters and numbers. She feels safe and loved there, which to me means everything! I wholeheartedly recommend this daycare.
Lefferts Garden Childcare offers excellent care for children. I had the privilege of using their service for a limited period of time and I was blown away by the way the caregivers interacted with each child. Amazing attention and warmth.
