A Disappointing Parent Jan 11, 2021
I have toured this provider's facility, but have not used its services

Their thieves and they’re unprofessional and rude ! Please Run ! Do not enroll your child to this school ! They are not equipped to run a daycare and on top of that they don’t refund money back to parents who are not wanting their children to attend any longer

I had really high hopes for this daycare since the location is amazing and convenient for all people involved in my LO life. To enter the facility there is no real monitoring system. They buzz you in and most that are sitting at the front simply walk away from the front counter. Some parents are greeted enthusiastically while most are not even acknowledged. My LO needed convincing to make it passed the lobby to go to their class and they have been in childcare all their life and is generally an outgoing child but completely shut down after the first couple of months. LO never mentioned what she learned or who she played with.

After a few weeks I noticed new teachers/faces in her classroom and even walked in on the after school teacher yelling at the children while they sat on the carpet frozen. The teacher was obviously distressed while the assistant continued sweeping the floor like this situation was normal. Once we got to the car I asked my LO what was with the yelling, and she said it was because we didn't want to read another story.

The last straw was when I went to pick LO up a little earlier than usual. I noticed another new teacher that looked relatively young. Out of curiousity I asked how old she was and she said 18. Then she back peddled and said, "I am not really 18 but I am 17. I was told to say I was 18." Wow! How Christian of a facility?! Telling their employees to lie and to illegally allow CHILDREN watch children. I had to leave at this point.

I can not say enough about Kidz Academy! They are truly a learning center. Our grandson was more than prepared for kindergarten when he completed the program there. Our other grandson went to another program in the area that claimed to be a 'preschool'. His experience DID NOT measure up to the experience his brother received at Kidz Academy. Why would anyone go anywhere else? Kidz Academy is like no other program in our community. The teachers are educated as well as good christians. Things are done right. We highly recommend them!!
