The storage area was cleared of all items and the landlord was notified. The landlord came and located the mold on the wall. The landlord cut out the sheetrock containing mold. The landlord found a leaking water main pipe and had it repaired, suspecting that the water in the room was the cause of the mold. The landlord removed the carpet and cleaned the storage room. We will periodically check the area to ensure that it is dry, clean and mold free.
