Most parents must rely on childcare on a daily basis, and leaving your child with someone else is a necessary but often difficult decision. For many single parents and low-income families meeting the cost of trustworthy childcare is simply impossible. These children are at risk of entering school unprepared to succeed.
Bloom consists of a unique blend of private-pay and scholarship families. This arrangement fosters a diverse mix of kids and an opportunity to strengthen our community as a whole.
community-funded scholarship program 50% of enrollment spots dedicated to families needing financial assistance.
Since 2000, Bloom has provided care and learning for over 300 children. More than 150 of those children received financial assistance, totaling over $1 million in scholarships.
Bloom is non-profit, a 501(c)3 organization, and is partially supported by individuals, businesses, and other organizations through gifts for our scholarships and with volunteer work. We also partner with Interfaith Outreach Community Partners (IOCP), Caring for Kids Initiative (CfKI), the Wayzata School District and government agencies to help empower families who are struggling financially and help them achieve self-reliance and independence.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed.
