I have used this provider for more than 6 months
When our son started Kidco, he was 3. While I was extremely nervous about taking him from his in - home daycare to a completely different environment, I have no regrets. One of the owners stayed late just so I could come by, with my son and check the place out. She welcomed me with open arms, answered ALL my questions and even let our son play while we talked. I wad comfortable, my husband was comfortable and our son was definitely comfortable! The first few days were rough on him; it was a big change. But I was able to be in contact not only with the owner, but the director as well, who both assured me he was ok. Within weeks our son was coming home singing, saying his ABC's, counting etc. Kidco is a very family oriented place. I highly recommend them. Go check them out, you won't regret it!
And as far as the negative review, there are no rodents, no broken toys and certainly NO CHILD ABUSE!
My son has been coming home everyday with either a new song or new phrases where he has learned new things here! Best step we have made for him thus far! They update us often through apps, pictures on their fb group and a lot of extra curriculars! Our son is having a blast while learning and the teachers passion is apparent! The owners and the Director go out of their way to assure the safety and the learning of the children are being met. I am notified instantly if something has occurred with my son. Love this place and would highly recommend... 10 stars hands downs!!!!!
I find it interesting and incredible that someone would write such a scathing review of Kidco. Especially without identifying his or herself. I sent my youngest son there for more than a year before he started Kindergarten this school year and my experience was wonderful. The staff is fantastic and communicates with parents through the day and at the end of each day. I felt like they all genuinely cared about my child. My son came home excited about all the new things he learned each day and he was very well prepared for Kindergarten. So much so that he was evaluated and accepted into the gifted program in PG the second semester of this year. I know my child is smart and capable but I have to say that I give a lot of credit for that to Kidco. They helped my son learn to love school and to strive to excel with his behavior and leaning. I would recommend this facility to anyone in the PG area looking for reliable and excellent child care and preschool.
Started of great. It's a brand new business, and the owners were extremely involved when the doors opened. Since then everything seems to of had gone down hill. They have rodents, microwave all of their food, the owners seem to not care about the business any longer as they yell at the children and my child has told me multiple times that he has been yanked by the owner. My child has been coming home with mysterious bumps and bruises with no explanations from the Director, kids have also been seen running out of the facility by themselves. They constantly watch tv and place the children in time out. Their "playground" is just a piece of fenced in weeds and dirt with a tricycle and broken toys. It's surprising that they have not been shut down yet. I would never recommend for anyone to register their child here, unless they did not care for their baby.
