Operator did not follow hand washing procedures. One child arrived during the observation, and she did not wash her hands. They all went into the classroom and the child stated that she was hungry. The operator and children then went into the kitchen and got a bag of muffins. They went back into the classroom and the operator opened the bag and provided them to the child. The other child present wanted some of the muffins as well and the muffins were shared with the other child. The operator was reminded to wash the children's hands and so the operator and both children washed their hands and then the children resumed eating their muffins. | |||
