A friend of mine told me she had her child her for a bit in the past and when she told me they had an in ground swimming pool I was shocked. I’m an emergency room doctor and I have seen way too many drowned children in my time working in hospitals. I have heard it so many times “It was fenced off and I was certain they couldn’t get in” but they seem to find a way when you just turn your back for a second. Day care and swimming pools are a bad mix. I would rather have a loaded gun lying around than have a pool near my child. These people should fill that pool with dirt, close down or move to a location without one. Take it from me you don’t want to risk your child’s life when it comes to drowning risks. My heart breaks everyday I have to tell a parent their child has died.
I have only ever toured this facility and heard about it from my 3 year old. I live in Washington but when my daughter is with her dad in California she attends Janet's home daycare. I was very impressed the few times I went to pick up my daughter with the cleanliness of the house and the child aimed set up she had. All the children were happy and laughing and seemed to really enjoy their time there. I've also gone during lunch time and she had all the kids regardless of age set up at the kitchen island eating a meal together while she worked on cutting up more apples and pizza at the counter across. She makes the kids feel at home and when my daughter gets back from her dads she talks more about her love for Janet and her friends there then anything else. I couldn't be happier knowing she is well taken care of when she is not at home. Janet is truly a gift for my piece of mind.
Janet is one of the best daycare providers. My search was over when I met with her, the kids had their schedule, her home was calm and didn't have kids melting down, running about it was peaceful, clean and very well run.
My daughter was 4 months old at the time, she stayed with Janet until she was preschool.
Janet treats your child like they are one of her own, she is fantastic your child will thrive, learn
and be well provided by while you are at work.
I highly recommend this daycare.
