Description: Mission: To bring the low-income population of Galveston, Fort Bend,Wharton and Brazoria Counties into the mainstream of educational, economic, cultural and political life of the community by involving them in the community decision-making process; educating and sensitizing the community about the problems of poverty; advocating for, initiating and operating programs and services to meet the needs of the low-income population; and becoming actively involved and vocal in all areas of living that pertain to the needs of the low-income citizens in our communities.
