Freeport Bumble Bee Learning Center is a Certified Learning/Childcare Center. Our program from 6 Weeks old to 5 years is learning oriented, in a safe, nurturing, and positive environment. We offer several different programs, including Before and After School Program, with busing to local elementary school included, as well as being in the process of starting a weekend babysitting service. We offer a Before and After School program that buses to South Buffalo Elementary and Buffalo Elementary. We will soon be offering a Weekend Babysitting Service on Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm. All teachers are First Aid and CPR Certified, experienced and nurturing individuals.
I have used this daycare for about 4 years now and have had very few complaints. There was a time where they shut down During the pandemic and when they re-opened at a new location in the old jr high building under new management and got some new staff and got rid of some of the bad seeds staff wise i’ve had zero problems! everyone there takes great care of my kids and my kids look forward to going there. My son has behavioral issues that has caused issues with past daycare‘s miss handling him during his episodes and I’ve had zero problems with this daycare they take their time with him and don’t get frustrated with him and that’s very important to me. If you haven’t tried this daycare since the re-opening I strongly suggest you give them another chance and I know for a fact you will not be disappointed!
My son loved this place at first. After a year all the staff changed. The staff would continue to change constantly. I arrived to pick him up and could hear screaming as soon as I walked in. The manager let me in and just smiled at me. She said my son was in the gym. I went to the gym and that's where the screaming was coming from. The caregiver was yelling at the kids about how she couldn't stand it there. She never heard me come in, never heard me call for my son. Finally she stopped to take a breath and heard me. She laughed that she must not have heard me because she was yelling so loudly. We never went back.
This daycare has went downhill. I had my children at that daycare for about 3 years. The last year they went there it got so bad. Always have different staff coming and going. The management there sucks. They put 4-5 year olds in a highchair, stroller, and/crib for punishment. The lady in the older childs room does nothing but yell. The owner takes kids in her office with no cameras and is forceful with the children. There is no excuse for a daycare employee to hold children down, hit, or put their hands on a child period.
Very friendly and caring staff, great program! We really feel like our daughter's imagination is sparked while learning a great curriculum!
