A warm, nurturing environment for preschoolers and their families that fosters social and cognitive development through activities, materials, exploration, and play. A chance to learn how to be part of a group, show kindness and respect to others, gain self-confidence and prepare for future learning. In our multi-age classroom, curriculum includes block building, dramatic play, art, science, outdoors, music/movement, sensory experiences, storytelling, literacy, and number readiness. Curriculum is based on children's needs and issues - open-ended activities help each child feel successful and attain readiness skills. A community of families develops as we all have fun together. We meet Monday to Thursday from 9 to 12 with optional Extended Day on Tuesday until 2:30 and Lunch Bunch on Wednesday until 1.
