Faith is a place for learning for all. Your child will learn in a Christian environment where we live together as God's people in HIs love and forgiveness. She will participate in daily religion classes where she will learn about the Bible and how it is used as a guide for living as Hs child. Other subject areas such as reading, writing, math, social studies, and science provide opportunities for your child intended to help her grow. This is accomplished in a nurturing environment of support from the beginning of preschool through Eighth grade graduation. As your child grows we pray she will develop in her faith and friendships with others. Your family is a vital part to that success and hope that you will communicate with our staff often.
Your child's classroom looks a lot like the classrooms you attended and more. There will be a teacher helping children learn and support learners at a variety of levels. For children who have special needs, we utilize teachers from Lutheran Special Education Ministries and the Bay-Arenac ISD. Your Kindergarten through eighth grade child will have technology, music,, art, Spanish, and Physical Education classes. Preschool through eighth grades also have use of the school's set of iPad Minis, which offer numerous educational opportunities. While technology is a tool for learning, we continue to explore ways our students can utilize technology more naturally in learning, especially with the purchase of iPads for teachers to use in their whole- and small-group instruction.
