Description: Our program includes many activities such as arts and crafts, music, sensory play, table toys, block and housekeeping areas and more. We also offer a big outdoor area for large muscle development. Our program maintains enough structure so that your child is secure and safe, but not so much that he or she feels pressured. We allow the children the opportunity to play inside or outside in a balanced schedule and offer planned group activities, which reinforce your child's social interaction. Your child is provided with lots of individual attention from their teachers. We are available to meet with you at any time to discuss your concerns and answer any questions you may have. Realize that it may two or three weeks for a child to adjust to a new school, even if they have been in daycare before. It is understandable that at first your child may feel uneasy, unsure or possibly even cry when you leave. this is normal behavior during the adjustment period and will easily be overcome with your understanding and patience. We share in your desire that your child's school experiences be enjoyable and rewarding ones. We want to work with you in providing the best for your child and hope that Discovery Station becomes a "second home" for them.
