I have used this provider for more than 6 months

I absolutely feel very comfortable leaving my child here. She has been there since 7 moths old and now going on 2 years old. She has never been hurt which makes me feel relieved that the teachers must be doing their job. Yes she has been sick several times but it is expected because she is around so many kids and she has to build up her Immune system. She is very happy going into school. I have worked at daycares for 10 years+ so I notice everything but this daycare has things in control. Front desk staff is pleasant, the owner really cares about the kids and is always at work. The teachers keep it real but really love and teach the kid. No childcare is perfect but this is a blessing for my family. I know that my child is loved here.

VERY DISAPPOINTED. Robin Swilling, the owner, does not remotely have any people skills and loses control emotionally. If you have any questions or concerns you will be attacked by her which makes it difficult to communicate about your child regarding his or her needs. Very unsettled with my children in her care as she is very combative and completely closed minded.

My child started going here at about 8 months. From the beginning I loved this facility. This was my sons first time in daycare and they ensured me he would be fine. I called numerous times to check on my child and it was never a problem to give me an update. Mrs. Kelly was excellent with her infant class. This school helped me potty train my child by the time he made two. He loves this place. My son constantly ask me on Saturday can I go to school. If I pass his school he is full of joy. My son is now three. He loves his teachers. Most of all my son is learning. He gets sight words from school and carries them around the house all day. He knows his abc's and numbers perfectly. His vocabulary is improving. I heard about this daycare through word of mouth because my son's cousin went here first, I'm glad I chose them as my daycare provider.

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

Me being a new and first time mom I had many reservations about sending my son to daycare but after the tour of this nursery by the owner she sold me with false advertising! My son started at 4 months old and the first two months I was content with no major complaint. I started to notice that his infant classroom was getting more and more crowded with still only two teachers, there wasn't enough cribs in the room for each kid, and my son was constantly being picked up with his socks not on in a freezing building and clothes filthy! My baby stood sick! Virus after virus, cold after cold! (Because depending on who and what the parents did for a living, certain VIP kids can stay at school sick)

Every time my son was picked up, he was locked in a stroller, highchair, or his car seat! No matter what time of the day I made it there he was always sitting in one of those items! Never letting the babies explore and learn from exploring!

I received no daily log sheet of what my son's day consisted of! I didn't know what he ate that day, if he made a bowel movement, or anything! And if I would ask they would come off upset that I'm asking these questions!

Once my son turned 8 in a half months he was moved to a new classroom that the owner explained to me to be a "more active infant class" I didn't argue because I saw myself that he was becoming more active and moveable and that the previous classroom was completely overpopulated but my problem came in the following two weeks when he was moved AGAIN to a classroom that had no cribs and was told that he would be sleeping on a mat(a 9 month old sleeping on the floor!!) the "teacher" of this classroom was very rude, unprofessional and came off to me like someone with a nervous issue! Not someone that could care for my child in the correct manner! My son was moved to this classroom on a Tuesday and his last day was that Thursday!!! That Thursday when I picked him up both of his eyes were draining pus!!! It's like he was crying pus. He had the worse case of conjunctivitis ever!! I called Courtney informing her that my son had the pink eye and I asked her did anyone in the center have the pink eye because no one in my household was ill and the daycare was the only other place he had been. Of course she said no but little did she know, I already knew a little girl in my son's class had the pink eye! I cried that entire night just praying and crying that God would make a way to fix this situation! I just knew my son wasn't going back there, I just felt like I was putting my son in danger by leaving him there.

I can really go ON and ON about my experience with Creme de la Creme but I'll just leave with saying please don't do it! They are money hungry!!! Not loving and caring and basically your paying them to babysit your kids! I thought the Swillings had more class and respect about themselves but clearly they don't!

I LOVE my son's new daycare!! They actually are teaching him and I see it! And I watch him being CARED for on video monitoring ALL DAY!

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

My grandkids have been going to this day care for three years. They are treated very well and love going. In addition, the lessons they are receiving has them well prepared for Pre-K4. Yes they are fed early for lunch but so are regular schools. There is a huge gym where the kids can play in lieu of the hot sunny or when the days are rainy. I don't think any place is perfect, however these kids are receiving good care, and I am satisfied.

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

Let me start by saying there are limited centers/daycares that are affordable in the New Orleans are for younger children (infants - 2yr olds) Therefore, when I stumbled upon CDC I thought I struck gold. The owner puts up a good front when she initially giving the "GRAND TOUR" however after about 2 weeks the red flags started to fly. I'll try to keep it short and give you synapsis of my 1 1/2 years at Creme De La Creme.

1. Nothing is Creme of the crop about this facility. Although it appears to be clean, my child amongst numerous other children were constantly sick. The parking lot is a speed racetrack. My own car was involved in a car accident. The Swillings own the entire mall and there is an event hall in the very front, DURING school hours they have functions. One day there was a repass and strangers and unsolicited individuals just roaming the parking lot. NOT SAFE AT ALL. But I guess turning down money is NEVER in the cards for them no matter the children they put at risk.

2. The staff consists of ladies whom aren't educated, have gold teeth, and profane tattoos visible to parents and family. The front desk girl (she's young) does not know how to talk to parents and she speaks very "matter of factly" when speaking on matters that arise from different parents. The "teachers" speak to the children in a nasty matter. Ive heard screaming and seen snatching on numerous occasions. The curriculum is needless to say subpar. One afternoon I walked in my child's class to find them dancing to a loud speaker blasting "ooh ooh aah aah eey eey TURN UP" and every morning they are watching a movie or television show. Not educational AT ALL.

3. The class sizes I KNOW are not in compliance with the state. At one time my child had as many as 36 children in their class ( I know this because I ask for Halloween treats) with only 2 teachers. This ultimately lead to accidents that they (the teachers had no recollection of and questioned my child about what exactly happened) This lead to neglect for not only my child but to the other 35 children as two teachers cannot oversee a class of that size.

4. Lack of communication with parents. Instead of having a daily/weekly/monthly newsletter or some information of any sort they would plaster any correspondents on the front door. (i.e. notices about condoms in the parking lot, children smelling of marajuana, and unpaid balances with child's first and last name displayed) just tacky.

5.The "meals" I know for a fact they eat "pork-n-beans' once a week, ham sandwiches, and CANDY CANDY CANDY. In the mornings they feed the children half of a hunnybun and a swallow of milk. Needless to say my child is starving once they get home in the afteroon.

6. "Peppa"- Peppa is a yard stick the OWNER uses to get the children "in line". Peppa was not mentioned during my tour nor did I give them permission to threaten my child with anything let alone a yard stick. My child or any other child are not cattle and shouldn't be treated as such. That alone is teaching the children they need to be threatened or threatened to be beat, to stay in order. Just perfect for the society we live in today. (sarcasm)

I could go on and on about this daycare. I stayed as long as I did for the simple fact that I didn't want to switch my daughter from school to school. (They are starting PK3 at a REAL school in the fall.) They do not treat the children as individuals but as a number. They are money hungry. If in need of a decent daycare where they actually treat the children like people and not a number seek elsewhere.

P.S. Just FYI they ONLY accept cash. This facility is screaming TAX FRAUD to me.

My grandson attend's this daycare and I am very pleased with the owners as well as the employees. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is very friendly. They are very attentive to the students, which I really appreciate. They have a good curriculum along with great teaching skills. I would definitely recommend this daycare to others.

This is by far the worst day care I have encountered. They are beyond unprofessional and nasty attitudes. The teachers are not well educated and the director is a good example that money can NOT buy class. It was such a horrible experience for both me and my child. I even heard a teacher curse a kid. I really felt like they were abusing my kid.
