Description: Community Initiatives Day Care is a Licensed Child Care Center in Baltimore MD, with a maximum capacity of 13 children. This child care center helps with children in the age range of 6 weeks through 17 months, 18 months through 23 months, 2 years, 3 years, 4 years, 5 years, 5 years to 15 years. The provider does not participate in a subsidized child care program.
Went to pick up my daughter based on extreme and vague allegations from the provider and encountered highly questionable situation with my 3 year old daughter sitting outside with one of the child care staff and her grandson and one thing lead to another where her grandson called my 3 year old daughter a "w****". Myself forced to be humble the best way I could (in front of my daughter) all the while trying to prevent the escalation to becoming a CNN situation.
My first reaction would be to explain that the word "w****" originates from The Bible and even more in depth "The Holy Scriptures" but since he wouldn't know the difference; I will post this as a part of this "Review".
Any one who uses the word “w****” on a 3 year old loosely needs to look at their roots because my daughter doesn't wear lipstick, makeup or “paint her face”. Neither does she; being only 3 years old: participate in cultural affairs beyond her reasoning. So to say; she doesn't wear earrings because actually: What entity would have had made her a slave to wear those earrings in the first place?
Was there any explanation for the call to come and pick her up in the first place? No!
Clean that place up and keep it straight from now on because I found another instance reported as a violation against community initiatives dealing with the same kind of complaint.
