Description: I have provided an active learning environment that promotes intellectual growth by allowing children to explore and discover. My home and outdoor classrooms are well organized and designed for comfort. Both indoor and outdoor classrooms stimulate imagination and inspires self-directed play that helps develop Cognitive thinking, Self-Expression and Communication. Gross Motor is encouraged by use of Music and movement as well as outdoor challenges. Fine Motor skills are practiced with manipulative and Pre-writing skills. Children learn about the world around them both living and non-living through Nature and Science. Our Creative Curriculum includes Language and Literacy that encourages listening and speaking. Cultural influences and diversity awareness teaches them about themselves and people in the communities, and other parts of the world. Social and Emotional growth are consistent with positive interactio's between children and caregivers as well as among peers. We value families and work to create a continuum of learning that links early care and development to later success in school.
