Butler Little Tykes Learning Center Rocks !!!!! I love the daycare and my child loves Mrs. T and her staff. Keep up the good work and let your light shine Mrs. T and staff.
Let me tell you about this daycare. This is the BEST and most nurturing daycare that I have seen, it's always neat and clean and the staff here are always caring and friendly. As a parent who's child attend the daycare, I must say they have it together. I couldn't ask for a better place to send my child. As for the mental case women who wrote a bad review on Mrs. T, if you are interested in a good daycare, I suggest you come and visit the daycare for yourself. Ask all of the other parents how HAPPY and satisfied they are then form your own opinion. CASE CLOSED
So let me just tell you something about this "child care center"... Now I'm not saying the facility wasn't clean, in fact it was actually pristine. And I'm not saying that the teachers weren't nice, because they were nice up until the moment I pulled my son. I strictly have issues with the child to teacher ratio before 8am, so a good hour before they go to their classrooms. Their lack of using my sons medication on him, and them failing to notify in advance about early closings.
My son was here for 2 weeks before I decided 2 weeks was long enough and contacted the state. The contract states that they are open Monday-Friday 6:30am-6:00pm, on my sons very first morning no one showed up until well after 7am. That friday when I dropped him off i was notified that they were "short staffed" and I would need to pick him up no later than 5:30, so I had to leave work early. The following Wednesday, I got a voicemail around 10:00am stating that they had mandatory state training and would be closing at 5:30pm that day, again I left work early. Tuesday & Wednesday, 7/14/15 & 7/15/15 when I dropped my son off after 7:30am there was only 1 teacher and 14 children, ages ranging for infant - 4 years. On Thursday at 7:45am there were 21 students and again only 1 teacher in the room. On Friday, 7/17/2015, I was again informed when I dropped off my son that they were short staffed and would be closing at 5:30pm again. I collected what things of his I could get, and what do you know, his lotion to keep his skin moisturized since he has severe ezcema, had not even been used. When I called the center to discuss these concerns "Mrs. T" became very defensive stating that the state had just done an inspection last month and I was wrong. she also stated that they had taken GRAPHIC IMAGES of my child and forwarded them to a CPS investigator, This was after she found out that she wouldn't be getting any more money from me. That there ratios were how they should be - when I tried to tell her that I understood once the children were broken up into their classrooms they had the correct ratio, but not prior to that, and tried to explain my concerns she she stated she had an appointment and hung up the phone. I called back to see when I would be able to come collect his things and she said she was holding them until I made payment for ending the contract without notice, which is illegal, and the contract I signed gave her no authority to do so. If you violate your own contract (here's the most basic example: by not operating during posted hours) I do not owe you a dime. I have contacted CPS and I hope that this will encourage this center to follow the law and actually take care of your children properly.
It's truly sad when one parent gets upset a writes negative comments on Mrs. Tee or her staff. My child has attended Mrs. Tee daycare for four years and NEVER once had a bad experience there. Mrs. Tee and her staff go beyond the call of duty to make sure your child gets the BEST CARE ! I have been there to see my child eat during lunch and I have also made stops in without calling and my child and others were being taken care of.....I do suggest any NEW parent to go and visit yourself. DO NOT go by the negative ratings by one person who didn't make their payment on time or because of the color of her skin. I would recommend Mrs. Tee daycare to ALL OF MY FRIENDS , RELATIVES, ASSOCIATEs.
I strongly suggest you request to drop in during lunch and observe staff and children interacting for yourself before sending your child. You can then be the judge regarding their discipline and teaching style.
My child attends the daycare and she loves it.....the staff is great and we love the daycare. I would recommend it to all of my friends and family.
