I have used this provider for more than 6 months

This facility appears to be great when you visit. It is clean and they tell you they don't serve pork and only serve fresh vegetables. You think you are taking your child to a good provider and you are not. I agree with previous posts that kids get hurt in this facility. My son started attending at 16 months and never had an issue. They told me he bit a kid his very first day, but I was never told of an incident after that until months later when Mrs. Maddox tried to be deceitful and tell me he had been biting for some time. I never received any report stating this. She then lies and says we can be partners and work through his biting together. The parent handbook states they won't terminate a child until they have tried every possible way to work with him. She kept repeating to me that they only give a child 3 chances to bite and they are terminated. For one that is not realistic because a child can bite 3 times in one day and no where in the contract or parent handbook does it say that. Mrs. Maddox is extremely unprofessional, a liar and disrespectful. If she is the owner and the director, you can only imagine what types if teachers she hires. She showed me a video of my child hitting himself in the face during a tantrum. So the teacher decided to take the time to record my child instead of trying to calm him down or redirect his attention. I never received any written reports about biting incidents, because she claims only parents of the child who gets bitten gets a report which doesn't make any sense. Please don't take your child here. Save yourself the headache.

I like the school, due to the fact they don't serve any pork of beef at the school. It doesn't matter the time of day it is always a pleasant smell in the building. The menu consist of home style meals, which I can appreciate. When you walk in the building it smells very clean. The teachers and staff are always so sweet, they hug every single child in that building.

Great childcare provider. Very warm and welcoming! My child attended as a baby and will stayed until time for Pre-K. The owner is a Professional and treats the children at the center as if they were her own. The children are in a safe environment where they are offered love, they receive educational experiences both in and out of day care, and they are encouraged to become independent but to also play and share with the other children. My child learned her alphabets, numbers, nursery rhymes, and how to be a leader. The owner takes the educational component ver serious and that was important to me! Yes play time is important but that early introduction to education is what I preferred and appreciated from the provider!

Disappointed #2 May 05, 2013

The previous review is valid. The same thing happened to me as well.(fraudulently charged my account) Children are getting hurt there, scratched up and so long as a bruise doesn't show, they will not tell you that something happened. Ms. Maddox (the director)is very deceitful and unprofessional. She/they talk crazy to parents and their staff. If you go there today.. you will notice that they are understaffed. No child has a "great day" everyday. They are told - "You gotta put on a show for these parents.come in here Ms. Danzy and show them how its done." They should be careful about the things they say when they think no one is listening!

This was the worst daycare experience. The director was very deceitful in every interaction. She fraudulently charged our account after I child stopped attending the center.
