ABC Academy Preschool and Child Care Center offers an NAEYC accredited program for children 2 1/2 weeks through 12 years of age. NAEYC Accreditation is a voluntary assessment program that ABC Academy elects to participate in to ensure that we provide the highest quality early childhood program to our families. Each member of our teaching team holds a degree in early childhood development and are trained in the HighScope Curriculum, an approved developmentally appropriate, research based curriculum that aligns with Michigan Early Childhood Standards of Quality for PreK.

Frost has the only self-contained Fourth through Sixth Grade Gifted and Talented Program (LEAP) in our district. It has the only self-contained French Back-to-Back Program in the state. Frost services a number of Special Needs Programs within our building. There is an outstanding music facility for vocal music, a full size gymnasium, and two locations where students enjoy lunch. The Frost Elementary staff is committed to doing whatever it takes to help our students achieve. Each classroom teacher works on a team, addressing the importance of learning styles, social and emotional development, and curriculum integration. They team in core academic areas such as math, science, social studies and language arts. This school-wide collaborative approach has allowed teachers to focus on the important district objectives and state benchmarks in our core academic areas.
Heaven's Little Helpers director/co-owner, Julie Smith has worked in child care for nine years. Five of those years she was a director of a center. She also has her associates degree in Early Childhood. Liz Miskowski is the other co-owner she has worked in child care for two years and has her bachelors degree in Early Elementary Education. Lead team members have over 12 semester hours in childhood classes with experince working with children. Lead team members also are CPR and first aid certified.

Townsend Elementary School provides education and opportunity to grow for approximately 600 students in grades K-5. The building principal is Aaron Bush and the assistant principal is Shelley Mannor. There are 26 classroom teachers, a vocal music teacher, physical education teacher, art teacher, 3 special education teachers, and 2 reading recovery teachers. Townsend also provides a Young 5's Kindergarten classroom, Pre school classroom, and before/after school childcare. In addition, the following professional staff support our students' needs: a school social worker, school psychologist, speech and language therapist, special education social worker, school nurse, 11 classroom assistants, a library assistant, a computer lab assistant, an occupational and physical therapist, and 3 special education aides. Assisting all of us with the many aspects of our school life are: 2 secretaries, 1 safety crossing guard, 7 kitchen workers, 4 playground supervisors, and 4 custodians. We are proud of our school and our caring staff!

St. Mary Child Care and Development Center was designed to provide a safe, loving and creative environment for your child. The preschool child (age 2 1/2 to 4) will be involved in daily pre-planned activities including: arts and crafts, music, stories, finger plays, dramatic play, creative movement, and learning activities.
St. Mary Pre-Kindergarten was established in 1975 as a kindergarten readiness program for 4 and 5 year old children. St. Mary Pre-Kindergarten is unique in that it offers 4 and 5 year old children their first classroom experience geared to their social, emotional, creative, academic, and physical growth and needs.
daVinci Primary School will begin on Tuesday August 30th for the 2011-2012 school year.Â We will be in session for half days on August 30, 31st and September 1st with dismissal at 12:00.Â We will begin full days on Tuesday, September 6th. (No school on Friday, September 2nd or Monday, September 5 for the Labor Day weekend.)
