Hello my name is Jennifer and I just recently moved to the Beaver Dam area the beginning of October. I opened up my own in home daycare starting November of this year. I'm looking to take in 3 more children of any age. I have a daughter of my own age 2. We are a cat friendly home, but he is very kid friendly. We also have two dogs, a lab mix and a husky who also love kids. We are a non-smoking home, with a huge back yard for the kiddos to play in! My rates will be $15 for four hours or less and $30 for up to 10 hours and then for anything more will be further discussed between us. I would like to be open from 6am until 6pm (later if needed even.) I would provide food for snacks and mealtimes as well. I am now CPR/AED certified and SIDS/SBS certified. Thank you for your time and I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
I am a certified family child care provider that believes that quality child care and education is a partnership between parents and provider. Play is the basis for learning in my program. I work to empower children, promote individuality, and develop strong partnerships with families. Plus, my environment helps children attain physical, cognitive, social, and emotional achievements that help them in the next step in their life.
Kay’s Learning Childcare A Place Where Learning Begins for Early Childhood 1st and 2nd shift Family Daycare Philosophy Kay's Learning Childcare is a fun-based learning environment that encourages independency through curriculum. It provides quality care in a safe and warm setting where I value anti-bias and diversity to cognitively foster children’s awareness of the world they live in and to celebrate their culture. The atmosphere is made to be relaxing and casual for the children to comfortably play and learn in a light and neutral interior. With the Development Appropriate Practice (DAP) foundation, I strive the children to learn socially, emotionally, cognitively and physically through play and exploring. Partnering with parents promotes great growth in the child’s development and is encouraged to be practiced every single day. Every child is treated respectfully as a unique individual and is expected to learn at different pace. The activities are to be carefully planned to meet their standards and enhance their skills, at the same time building their self-esteem. Discovering and learning new things every day creates unforgettable memories that possibly improves their behavior during their childhood to provide positive outcomes in their future. Having the children feel safe and secure is my main goal in the daycare. I look forward on building trust and respect with each one of them. Providing tender, loving, and care creates great relationships between each other and brings harmony in this setting. Following the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food Program, I provide healthy and nutritious food to build their energy inside. A clean environment will also bring good health to your child as well. Good health, development, and education can bring a good future for your child. Background about me My name is Keu See Lor. I received my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education since May 2015 from Fox Valley Technical College. I have experienced student teaching throughout my years in college and became a Lead Teacher in daycares after I have graduated. I have had the passion for teaching young children for a very long time as I came from a family of 8, which gives me 5 siblings younger than me, who I have taught some skills. I wanted to pass my teachings to other children and express my passion with them. My goal for them is to make a difference in their life, positively, that could help them gain success in the future. They are very delicate learners in their early ages where I want to be a part of and to help build their development to become greater in their upcoming years. As I realized, there is very little daycare that offers 2nd shift care. I thought I should take this opportunity to be one of those who offers 2nd shift daycare services to those family who are in need. Your child will be learning through play-based curriculum to enhance their health, physical, social, emotional, language, and cognitive development. I will help guide your child every step of the way to improve their milestone to the next level. My priorities is to provide a great quality, healthy, and safe environment. Become a part of Kay’s Learning Childcare and experience this great opportunity for yourself and your child.
