This center took such good care of my babies! They always came home with new pictures and things to talk about. The teachers were super nice and all greeted me personally. Some of them have been there years. You can tell they really love the kids and enjoy teaching. I like that they have a door code so no one can walk in if they aren't staff or on a kids pick up list. They plan fun things like Kona Ice in the summer and the older kids go on field trips to visit the Easter bunny and Santa at the mall. They have been very accommodating, and I notice they include kids with disabilities and their therapists. My kids were wiggly so I appreciated that they do so much outside time in their playgrounds, which are really nice. They even had things to climb on and slide inside the classsrooms. I couldn't have asked for a better early learning experience for my kids.
I work for a ride share company that transports kids to and from school. I am very impressed with Roots and Wings Day Care. The staff is friendly and professional. The kids are obviously taken very good care of, and they are happy to go there after school.
On Oct. 9, 2017, I rang the front doorbell four times and finally, after 5 or more minutes, called the Day Care to tell them I was at the door. Luckily, I wasn't knocking to tell them the roof was on fire or anything like that, but there were at least three people working and it concerns me that they were not answering the door. This was the second time that I had to ring the bell and knock multiple times.
Our family was blessed to find Roots and Wings about 3 years ago. My 4 1/2 yr old daughter has been attending the center since she was 18 months old. When enrolled her in ECAP I was told she was exceptionally prepared in comparison to her peers. This is due to the dedication and patience of the owner and staff at Roots/Wings. Additionally, my 7yr old Autistic son attends before and after school and summers. The owner has gone way above and beyond the help the children there accept my son and prepare her staff for working with a special needs child, even allowing his therapists to make visits to the center and provide feedback and suggestions. My kids spend their summer at the pool and on fun field trips! They love Miss Casey and the rest of the staff, I would never send them anywhere else! If you're looking for a loving, stable, clean, educational, loving and fun place for your child to spend their childhood, you've found it!
