I have worked here previously. The communication and culture between the staff is great. The parents are involved with their children's learning and attend many school functions.
The staff here plan activities that foster the home to school connection. I definitely recommend this school.
This school has given me so much in terms of what I learned working there. The staff is family-oriented and the owners/managers/directors are supportive and flexible. Like any job, it's not perfect all the time, but this is a great place to work.
I used to work for this company and am beyond ecstatic to no longer be. This school mismanages their funding and expects its employees to work unpaid for long periods of time. The boss ignored request to speak with her; all communication was through delayed emails. She also attempted to hide the fact that she didn't pay me. The best environment for your children AND staff is one where everyone is happy. This is not a happy place. I am surprised this school is still running.
I can’t understand why so many people are saying negative things about this school my child learned so much here.i would recommend this school to anyone who would be looking for a UPK program
I have been working for this organization for 2 years. My experience has been nothing but exemplary. The school has a long wait list, which comes from word of mouth advertisement. The curriculum is strong and prepares the preschoolers for a successful kindergarten.
I would like first to say that I have been a parent of children that have been in Noah's ark and am still very satisfied with their care. Above all else I admire the loving relationships between teachers and children, and their many celebrations, the above standard of learning and care. Let me say that the Department of education is a bureaucracy that unfortunately has many hands to pass through to get PAPERWORK PASSED. With that said, you cannot blame teachers nor directors for their setbacks and miscommunication. The quality of education and care is exemplary. The educational director and the director are on top of the activities given daily, and they are learning and enjoying their day.
If I could give negative stars I would. The executive director is not professional, never pays her staff or bills on time. Never shows her face, hides behind her staff, she mistreats her staff. I would never recommend working here or sending your child here. i worked here did not get paid for months applied for unemployment in which she told them i was contracted for 12 months when i was not. she is making me pay back the money. In mean time I could not pay my bills because of her mismanagement.
In the beginning everything was going well when i started working here in September of 2018 this year. I worked at the middle village school for the upk program. People be made shady up in this place and do a lot of things they are suppose to do. For example one the lead teachers leaves the classroom all the time and is gone for at least 2 hrs during 6.5 hrs of instruction time in the classroom. And when you think someone watches your class and you ask them they walk away and screw u and the education director likes to lie and pretends shes nice with u and back stabs people and reports you to the director. The director hides most the time but when its something big she comes out the wood work and is quick to be there after hearing false information her minions she hides behind. I just left here recently.
This school is consistently late with payments to its teachers and other staff. Owner always has an excuse as to why payments are late. I ended up quitting because of missing wages; which are still missing as of now (October 2018). I am owed checks from over 4 months ago (May). The problems with payments ended up affecting the children as well, as some educators quit or refused to work for no pay for such an extended amount of time. Be cautious when applying for a position at this school.
The school serves a large Latino community. I found the teachers to be loving and caring about the children and their families. learned that they have gone without pay for months.
And yet they continued providing the children with a fun and safe environment. It is a shame what the owner it’s doing to her staff.
