I have used this provider for more than 6 months
I have used the facility for their full-time preschool for my oldest and youngest child. How they handle behavior issues is unrealistic and extremely detrimental to not only the child's behavior correction, but also to the parent's work performance. Both children did great when they were two years old and then when the terrible threes hit, the daycare center sent them home frequently for typical age behavior which almost cost me my job both times. The children learned to have poor behavior so that "mom" or "dad" would have to get them and they could go home. Luckily we found alternate childcare facilities that have more realistic expectations for children's behavior and have the training and knowledge on how to change the behavior. I truly believe it is a lack of training and education for their staff. Its a great place if you have near perfect children...and let's face it, that's rare. I wouldn't write this review if I didn't have two identical issues with two completely different children who thrive in other facilities.
Unfortunately the second experience was worse as the director did not set up a parent-teacher conference to try to help correct the behavior together and simply told us they give up. At least with the oldest child we had a conference and attempted to work together. I was very disappointed in the director's behavior this time around.
This program is ok. The caregivers really do care a great deal about the kids. It's a small environment where more individual attention is possible. However, I find that the director is often absent. She is hard to get in touch with. I often come to find 3 workers, each with their own group. This means there is no one watching the door and there is no one to help in case of mishaps or emergencies. This worries me.
