I absolutely love this daycare felicity! I've been a SAHM for 4 years and I have 2 toddlers. I was very nervous about them going somewhere and didn't know anybody and never been away from me. I am so pleased! My children love it, I love the teachers. Everybody is so nice and genuine. Makes us feel very welcomed

I would never tell anyone the ratio was 1/1 and furthermore I went out my way to help you, you told me you were homeless, you didn't get your child's physical completed. I called your child's doctor and asked them to fax to me. And you are the one, that said you propped your child's bottle up and let him feed himself because he doesn't like to be held. You expect us to do what you are not doing for your child. As I told you we don't prop bottles for the child to feed themselves. The childcare business is very demanding and it requires a lot of attention but we don't make a habit to sit around and hold the babies all day. Besides you prop your child's bottle for him to feed himself, REALLY??? I would think any mother would hold their child and give him or her their bottle. Instead of you taking the time to write bad reviews, report and down grade us you need to say thank you. I even went out of my way to bring you your child's belongings to your job after you took him out without notifying anyone, and not to mention YES I returned your call check your voice mails! That's the thanks I get when I try my best to help people that play the pity game. And a word of wisdom for you, stop smoking in the car with your child you are polluting your child's lungs. And if you have comments to make just come to me like you did when you were crying the pity role to get your child in my center. The sad part is that you came in here daily and never asked or said anything to me or my staff, and then when you are outside the doors you got the nerve to be insulting my facility.
M thomp I know exactly who you are. You’re the one who wants to sabotage someone’s business after they stretched their neck out for you. You’re the same person who went to the inspector with your complaint. The staff member that told you she couldn’t hold your child was telling the truth and nothing but the truth. When someone has five plus babies in their care how is it possible for them to only attend to one that’s not fair to the other babies. All of those kids get the same amount of attention as the other so no ma’am no one is going to favor your child over the other. Yes your child may have cried but that’s expected sometimes. If you wanted someone to spoil your child you should have hired a NANNY and not take your child to a DAYCARE. Maybe you need to look up the difference between the two. Another thing how dare you lie and say that the staff didn’t take care of your child properly. I’m pretty sure that staff did their best to appease your child and to make him/her feel comfortable. So Mindy the next time you want to run to the INSPECTOR take some receipts with you to back your story. I don’t even know the ladies like that but I know the owner and I know she is a really great business owner who loves what she does and wouldn’t run her business any type of way. I was told, the infant to caretaker ratio was 1/1. That's not required so im not sure why she gives incorrect information. I tried to reach out and left a message with an employee to receive a call back. As you can see the violations if you look them up, the ratio is not even close. I was told they do not ever hold the infants bc they do not have time, the were 5 other babies and they couldn't do that. I wouldn't expect a baby to be held all day, but 1/1 ratio at 155.00 a wk, yea someone should be able to tend to the crying babies and hold them.
If you want your child to be well taken care of send them here. They are served breakfast, lunch, and a snack. They are taught well by wonderful and professional teachers. You will not be disappointed.
To the person and people that fail to leave your name and want to leave all types of lies and untrue statements about the staff, myself and the business well I must say you are ignorant, I know exactly who you are! You are mad because you are not employed any longer! If you have something you want to say to me than come to me! And stop leaving lies about people, you probably have no clue that's SLANDER and you can be charged. By the way uneducated person your review emails are not as confidential as you think. Its is a shame people will do anything for attention. By the way the umbrella shield) not a top! on the playground has been removed until the summer ( it's optional) And how many playgrounds have you encountered that have tops?? Now, call it ghetto, foul or whatever you choose, when I speak out I'm all the bad things per you, but when I'm nice and quiet you try to walk all over me then I'm nice and you're satisfied...
I have used this facility for more than 2 years and I am so satisfied with the staff and owners. It always smells nice,the facility is always clean and the staff is always pleasant. The staff is caring about all the kids. The staff is very attentive of all the needs of all the children.
Do not take your kids there. The playground has no top and the sun burns the kids. The owner Camille has a pretty foul mouth too. My cousin Val told me that I should’ve listened to her. Camille doesn’t even have any white people working there it seems pretty racist. She’s did have 2 white ones there and one was fired because of her back and the other because she asked for her check. My cousin Shirley Cardwell worked there for maybe two weeks and Camille let her go.
Wow, my kids attend there and I love them there. I go in anytime and check on my little ones and pick them up early sometimes and don't even call to let the staff know I'm coming. A close relative of mine works there also and they don't know we are related and she has never told me anything bad about the center. And she would be the first to tell me if she encountered or saw anything wrong or if this center was not in satisfactory status with the social services.
Would give this childcare facility a 0 if able. Send your children here to get hit on a regular basis, yelled at like adults, put in a room with the door shut to cry until they fall asleep and physically forced to take naps. Ms. Camille and her husband are the owners and do not run a business like they should. Have never seen such unprofessional people. Mistreatment of children I have watched with my own eyes by the OWNER and WORKERS!!!!! CPS has been called more than once on this place. Social services is needed!!! Would not recommend sending your children or a friends!!!!!!!! GHETTO!!!!!
One of our 4 children attend here and we absolutely love this place. I don't see the GHETTO part, its one of the nicest daycare centers I have been in. I must also add if the owner/boss does not want to take calls or is not there that's not a problem for us. I manage my own business and no one calls me directly they make an appt or communicate with my supervisor, if there is a massive problem I'm pretty sure you are contacted. When I shop at Walmart or purchase a Garth Brooks CD I don't see Mr. Walmart or Garth!! Reviews that are insulting places that are untrue will only be recognized by others that entertain that type of activity. If you cannot leave true and positive feedback just don't leave anything!!! And leaving your full name would help also. As a business owner I deal with mad, jealous, unemployed and devious people all the time posting negative reviews, TOTS AND COMPANY YOURE DOING GREAT THINGS, GOOD LUCK IN THE FUTURE
After reading the post from the dissatisfied client. I have a few questions and statements to make. Now you said the staff at this Center would hit him? Well if this is true,
Was CPS called?
How long did your child keep going there after this happened?
Were the police called out?
If your answers too all these questions are no ,then this seems more like you are not telling the truth.If my child was getting hit by a teacher there,I am going straight to the Director or owner and it doesn't matter to me how mean she looks!! I would want answers.
My next question is that you claim your child had bite marks on him and the teacher tried to cover it up correct? Then this mean there should be a accident report on it.This means you discussed it with the teacher but did you sign a report? Again did you go to the Co director? Also you do realize the owner of any company doesn't need to be there.They hire people for that in case you are not familiar with the business world. Obviously you had to have liked this Center for your child to keep going and you didn't make any contact with anyone about the problems there.It is people like you that will spread lies only to try and bring a Center down.I don't know this Center but I do hope they overlook all your lies.Also you child said they never went by the menu This means your child must be younger than a child in preschool to be in that classroom.So this means he can read the menu at a very young age.I do not for once believe anything you have said and there are too many holes in your statement.My question is to you mam or sir,Did you leave owing the Daycare money or did you get mad at the mean Co Director from whom you never talked to about the problem.CPS needs to check you out ,because you probably bit the child and tried to blame them.Last statement is to the owners of Tots and Company.... RUN from this person because I smell trouble.
This is the most ghetto place I have ever allowed my child in! I had to take him out because he said the staff members hit him! He said they never gave him what was supposed to be on the menu! And a child in the preschool room kept hitting him and one day he bit him! HE said the teacher tried to cover it up but I saw the marks! I immediately regret letting my child go here and more parents should feel the same! The boss is never there and when she is she pretends not to be so she doesn’t need have to answer the phone! The codirector always looks like she has an attitude! Whoever is in charge needs to do an inspection ASAP!
Love the new play ground and they have a bus now!! 2 square meals and snacks are served everyday and then more if needed. Staff is really friendly and like family. I know several people whose children go here and they have nothing but goods things to say.
After relocating to the South Boston area myself and my husband was very much concern about childcare for our children. Ages 15 months, 3 yrs old. A friend referred us to Tots and Company because they have kids that attend there also.We toured the center and fell in love with it from just meeting the staff and the overall cleaniness and nuturing atomsphere. We are pleased to say we love our children being there. They don't have a playground area and that's not a big deal to us which they plan to put one in ( they opened Aug 2015) But the children go outside and play many activities and they have to die for buggies that the kids can't resist. I have been over a few times and see the staff pushing the buggies and taking the children for rides. I have never experienced one staff member with all the children! besides there are classes for all ages groups and they are separated by age. As far as the menu my kids eat more there then they do at home. ( I think they like the idea of sitting with their peers). I am very picky when it comes to my kids and I would refer this center to anyone that wants quality childcare. me and my husband checked out a few other centers before choosing this one and believe me they were dirty, unclean,smelly and uninviting. Tots and Company is a state licensed daycare so they are inspected at any time with no warning!!
They don't have a playground for the kids they take the kids out to play sometimes but they haven't got a little playground to play on no little slide or nothing!!! They can't keep workers there everytime you turn around you see new workers there!!! My child said what they eat it's not what's posted on the menu there!!! They follow now curriculum there and sometimes they have 1 worker watching all the kids and they are different ages from babies to big kids!!!! Social service should check up on them!!!!
