When I first sat down with the owner to tour the facility she made it seems like a 5 star Academy that had a curriculum and development activities for the children. This was the furthest thing from the truth. My child at the time was roughly 4 to 5 months old and I was told they had all licensed teachers. This was not the case, the Infant room teacher whose initials are D. M. is NOT licensed and has been let go previously from this facility. I witnessed parents and staff walking into the infant area with their outside shoes on no matter if they were muddy or raining, there was no signs to take off your shoes and no enforcement to do so. My infant was bitten by a toddler when they let the toddlers with the infants to save money on having a teacher their that day because their wasn't enough students for a full class. During the day I found out my child was kept in a bouncy seat the majority of the time which caused his toe nails on his big toe to split from always being on his tippy toes for hours at a time. He had diaper rash that was so bad it was almost bleeding and he would come home towards the end of his time there with bruises and bumps and scrapes almost weekly. The owner always made excuses saying I was overreacting because I was a new parent. I understood that kids get bumps and bruises when they are crawling and trying to pull themselves up but, some of the causes were from falling out of a feeding chair and pulling a toy bin down on himself. Also, i came to pick him up one day and found him outside in a fleece onesie in 80+ degree weather. The people that i had to deal with were more concerned about leaving as soon as they could at the end of the day and playing on their phones. The owner always had a different phone number and seemed to never pay the bills around the place or keep up on much needed maintenance. She actually tried to make all the parents pay an additional 30 dollars at one point for cleaning fees. My child was always sick when he was there with a runny nose or fever, he never came home clean, and always caked on nose drainage that looked as if it hadn't been wiped all day. After I left the facility I was immediately blocked from their Facebook to the point i cannot even look them up, I assume the owner did not want me to leave a review seeing as how she already had some bad ones one her Facebook page already. When I asked her about the reviews she stated they were miss-understandings such as the jacket incident was not her fault but she still paid for it. I never one time witnessed child development taking place or anything Academy "like" happening when I would stop in at random times to pick my son up during the day. Please DO NO TAKE YOUR CHILD to this horrible place. I normally do not leave reviews, but when children are involved if a parent/guardian can read this and take their child somewhere else then it was definitely worth my time.
I am shocked that this daycare is still open. It is one of the most poorly run child care centers I have ever seen. It is dirty( actually filthy) equipment is broken, there are shut off notices continuously, and there is never a consistent schedule. I would not recommend this facility at all. The director is anything but honest and she will lie on accident reports to cover herself. I cannot see how this facility will foster and support a child's development.
Beautiful daycare with a wonderful curriculum.
