I am a previous employee. I used to be the Co-Site Director for 2 years at Mosheim ESP. There is zero stability for the kids there as far as an actual room or building for them. They used to have toys, books, movies, art supplies, etc. All of which was either purchased by the Site Director (collected over 5 years) out of her own pocket or donated by parents. The principal took it upon herself to throw away or give away all the stuff we had for them. ESP kept getting switched locations/rooms because the principal at the school pretty much acted like the program was a total inconvenience to her and our rooms got smaller and smaller. They had us fitting 32 kids in a space that there were only room for 18. Some kids had to sit on the floor to do homework. The poor PRE-k had to nap on the floor because there was no room at the tables since older kids had homework. When we first moved into the library, there was no food or drinks allowed in there. So the kids had to eat outside on the concrete even when it was cold out. Finally the principal said that they could eat on the floor in the hallways. The nasty dirty floor that doesn't get cleaned. Eventually we were allowed to take them back to the cafeteria for snack time. Wednesdays we're supposed to be shut down for cleaning but when we would go back in on Thursday mornings there'd be sticky soda can spots on the table and I would have to clean the tables and they would literally turn the rags black no cleaning whatsoever. I took pictures and I posted on social media that it was not safe for the kids to return to school due to the fact that they really weren't cleaning like they said they were. Our poor kids have nothing by the time the school was done getting rid of everything. The principal even went as far as throwing our license away so we had to get a new one from State. We also ran with two staff members up to 72 kids at a time. Those were the only two staff members working at the mosheim location for months. I had two daughters that attended the school. One of the teachers constantly told one of my daughters that she was stupid and she never amount to anything. She became suicidal due to this teacher treating her like that. He continues to teach at the school and do this to other kids and nothing's done about it. What got me fired from working there was a little boy came in who was being bullied and he said he had a really bad day because of it. I asked if he told his teacher. He said yes but nothing was done about it. I asked if you talked to his mom. He said yes and that mom went to the teacher and nothing was done about it. He continued to say that his mother also went to the principal and had a meeting with her and nothing was done about the bullying. I had another daughter who was sitting at breakfast and a girl came forward a whole carton of milk over her long thick wavy hair. The staff and the lunchroom pretty much acted like it was no big deal. when this little boy came to me and told me that he was being bullied and nothing was being done about it I said that they need to work on their policies and that they need to start implementing discipline for these bullies. It's not fair for a child to have to go to school and hate it because of how he gets treated or she gets treated but I fellow student or a teacher. I was fired for saying that the teachers and the principals aren't doing their job when it came to bullying. What is staff there for if they're not there for the kids? That's a job that you take extremely seriously especially when it comes to the children. Staff teachers and people from the board pick favorites. If a bully happens to be one of their favorite kids they get away with everything. Kids who sit there quietly and behave and do what they're told get picked on by staff and students. I watch this go on for too long. I was in the midst of starting my own business and moving on anyways. But I got fired for speaking up for child in front of that child and having a conversation with staff about how the policy needs to change and how discipline needs to be implemented.
