The entire staff is wonderful and all are very engaged with the children in their classrooms. The classrooms are very clean and with a lot of different activities for the children to do during free-play. The teachers host themed days and have recurring weekly events, such as show-and-tell that the kids are welcome to participate in. I have found the administrative team to be very attentive and return questions via email and phone promptly. I am very happy with our experience there.
I give this place one star for many reasons. Yes most of the teachers are nice enough. You can't hardly get any info out of them even when you ask. My daughter came home with so many incident reports and tons more injuries with no reports. They have a plum tree out back and I repeatedly asked the teachers to not let my child pick up the plums from the ground and eat them. They have 5 kids on my daughters side at most and most days it was less. I finally emailed the owner that runs the daycare and she refused to email me back until I got upset with the daycare staff that another child was biting my daughter. My daughter always came home covered in dirt and mud and food from the day. I understand toddlers are busy but I shouldn't have to bathe her before I can even run to the store. Some days when they played in the sprinkler my daughter would be soaking wet and then covered in dirt. I don't mind her playing in the sprinkler but I'm always there at 430, I expect her ready and somewhat clean for me to pick her up. I went into the silverdale location last year once and turned around right away from the smell. I was not pleased with this daycare at all and always worried about my daughters safety. I'm so glad we finally got another daycare we love.
