Description: Welcome to Rachael's Daycare & Preschool! Placing your child in the care of someone else is never an easy thing to do. It is essential that you feel comfortable with this very important decision. My goal is to provide a safe environment for your children to play and learn in. Where they can feel like they are at home. I opened my daycare in May of 2008 and then became state licensed in August 2009. It has been a wonderful ride. I am a mother of three. After Child Care business hours I volunteer with the Willard City Fire Department as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) and Fire Fighter. In any spare time I write and illustrate children's books in my series called "For the Whys of a Child", "Ten Little Ducks", and "By The Light". I love surprising the children with new, fun books. Preschool time is from 8:45 am-11:45 am, Monday-Friday. Our play-based preschool learning activities teach children more than just the basics for kindergarten. We learn about safety, staying healthy, math, science, language and literacy, creativity, and knowledge of ways to properly express our emotions. Rachael's Daycare Giving Garden & Animal Science Program are a fun part of the program. I am always upgrading our environment/program to help the children get the best out of learning. In August 2023, Rachael's Daycare Outdoor Wonderland became an official Nature Explore Endorsement location. Watching the children learn how to do new things and the excitement they feel as they accomplish what they are working on is a joy. I hope that you will give me the opportunity to serve your family and care for your special ones. I have over 600 hours in training pertaining to child development and childhood education, my Child Development Associate Credential (CDA), and multiple program endorsements. My program is a 5 star, Top Star Endorsed Program through the Bear River Health Department. In 2022 I was awarded Provider of the Year from PFCCA.
