Description: The mission of the ISU Early Childhood Education Center is to provide opportunities for teacher training, research and service to persons within the university setting and in the community at large. The ISU Early Childhood Education Center demonstrates quality early childhood education programs for young children and their parents with a commitment to cultural diversity. Our program is ACCREDITED by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. The program is affiliated with the ISU Bayh College of Education and the department Elementary, Early and Special Education.

I am a student at ISU and I've done several observations at this facility . I have a child myself and when asked if I would ever place him here , the answer would be NO . I believe that all the employees , even the director all have nasty attitudes . They are really rude and their interactions with the children are horrible . They are not welcoming at all and they don't teach the children . I've came here to so several observations and I believe it is more of a daycare and not a learning facility . I'm unsure of how they are 4 on the paths to quality list .
