"A Sense of Pride" is an education and development center for the infants and toddlers of TEACHERS. . . we are NOT a babysitting service. We provide an intimate and nurturing home-like setting, consistency of care and small group size, with emphasis on promoting healthy emotional growth, language and socialization skills/manners and parent/teacher PARTNERSHIPS! Our activities are based on your child's developmental stage, including: ** Creating an awareness of the world around them/their 5 senses. For infants this includes squeeze toys, mobiles, music, singing, peek-a-boo, rattles, soft toys, etc. ** Motor Skills/large and small: puzzles, stacking/nesting toys, blocks, peg boards, coloring, arts & crafts,riding toys, ball play, exercise mats, running, hopping, push/pull toys and much more. ** Listening and Talking: Books, pictures, conversation. ** Basic Concepts: Shapes, sizes, colors. **Problem Solving Skills: Patterns, sequencing, sorting and classifying.
Additional Information: I am an in-home childcare provider for teachers' children, with many years of experience. We operate on a 10-month (Sept - June) schedule, in accordance with the local school calendar, with summers off. Please see our website at: asenseofpride.org
