Description: Little “U†Child Care has been providing quality Family Child Care to the North Pole Community for the past 4 years as well as 4 years in the Ft. Wainwrignt community. We have now opened a child care center in the North Pole area. They recently fired an employee for coming into the establishment 'high' on an unknown substance. This employee was known to leave her own child unattended to drink at a nearby bar and various other activities. She occasionally drugged her child (aged 3) with NyQuil, to put him to sleep, so that he was "less of a hassle." This employee regularly bragged about her exploits until her own parents threatened to call Child Protective Services.
I do not think that this establishment takes proper precautions when screening possible employees, or else they would have known the risk they were taking when hiring a drug addict and known alcoholic, with no child-care experience outside of abusing her own child.
