My name is Darletta (DEE) Tabb and I am a licensed family home provider and I am looking to serve the needs of children in a home-like environment. Working with children is something that I have enjoyed doing for the past 8 years. I have an in home daycare. This is something that I have always looked forward to doing. I started the daycare to stay home with my daughter. I have degrees in early childhood education and elementary education. I am certified to teach children from birth to sixth grade. I worked for the Learning Garden daycare for 4 years in Warrensburg, Missouri. After working at the daycare, I worked for the Independence School District for 4 years. I taught kindergarten and first- grade. I also taught summer shcool for 3 years and taught a program that got children ready for Kindergarten.  I received my Masters degree in Education. I have screened children for the Independence School District and am aware of the expectations of skills and knowledge that children are expected to know by kindergarten for public schools. I follow a preschool curriculum. I am certified in CPR. I am registered with the state. I have an insurance policy for the children that attend here. I give weekly lesson plans to parents so they know exactly what their child is learning here. I also keep a photo journal on each child so you can see what activities your child is participating in here.  We have several fun activities such as art, sensory, dance time, story time, literacy, science, and math activities.  We also have an outdoor play time with a jungle gym, sand and water table, play house, work shop, and bikes.  I provide a safe and comfortable environment for children to learn and grow. Your child will receive quality care here.
