Ashland Child Development maintains a separate building for infants and toddlers. We do accept infants at six weeks and provide quiet sleeping rooms with individual cribs. Our substitute grandmothers will nurture your infants in a separate area with swings, walkers, high chairs, and of course, a rocking chair. The care of each infant is individualized according to the parent's instructions, and parents are kept up to date on the baby's progress. The toddlers are a bit more active and have learning/play centers. Some centers change with the theme of the seasons. The children start the day with "Circle Time", sharing with their friends and teachers. Throughout the day, they learn and play with stories, music, age appropriate art and crafts, along with activities to develop large and small motor skills. |
