Description: Vedic Day Care has been open since 1994. The tuition fee is $70 a week, $14 a day. We also have financial assistance available to parents who qualify through Illinois Action of Children. The day care is open from 7AM-6PM, Monday-Friday, as well as on Saturdays from 11AM-4PM. There is also an after school program for kids over the age of 6 years old. The day care has a preschool and kindergarten, (ages 2-6 years old). We have state certified qualified teachers in early childhood education. We teach our day care children how to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic which enables them after graduating kindergarten to be ahead of other children in first grade. Studies have shown that children who enroll in early childhood educational programs are more likely to obtain a postgraduate degree. Some of our children have also gained admissions to selective enrollment elementary schools. In the past with parents' request we have also prepared children to gain admissions into these selective enrollment elementary school (gifted programs).
For the past twenty years the mission of The Vedic Day Care Center has been to nurture the minds of young children by providing them with excellent early childhood education. Subsequently, we have strived to teach them science, math, reading, writing, music, drama, arts & craft.
