The highly trained, professional, warm and patient teachers at Upper West Side Day Care are a crucial part of our toddler's life. When we ask about his caretakers, Shereen and Fareeza, he immediately smiles and often laughs about the fun time he always has with them both. When I come to pick him up he is so excited to show me the drawing he created, the books he read and the toys he enjoyed. And of course, he loves to dance during music time. I toured 4 larger, popular day care locations and did a trial at one more that were all twice as expensive because they were not flexible with their hours. UWSD is incredibly flexible because they charge per hour. It was the only day care in Manhattan that I found that has this fair and convenient policy. The have all the frills, structure and educational opportunities of the other facilities and in addition much more frequent one on one attention, a great indoor playroom with slides, etc, and pristinely clean rooms filled with sunshine. Contact them if you want to speak with me directly as a reference anytime.
