Description: The Learning Ladder is a Licensed Child-Care Home in LITTLE ELM TX, with a maximum capacity of 12 children. The home-based daycare service helps with children in the age range of Infant, Toddler, Pre-Kindergarten, School. The provider does not participate in a subsidized child care program.
Please do not send your child to this daycare if you've got severe allergies. You are snapped back at if you even try to check on your child because they say they are taking care of your kid better than anyone else. Also, the reason why I'm writing this to you is that they are not honest about what happened to my child and what the childcare workers were doing at the time my child ate the food allergen. They called ambulance and sent her by herself to the hospital. After that, they still did not tell me what happened or what she ingested. I had to guess and tell the doctor what I think happened. They did not take any responsibility and they blamed me and my child. They said I did not provide her any allergy medecine (which I gave epipen and verbally consented/signed-they did not do it) and that my child ate the food herself that she was allergic to. So, basically they are not liable for anything. They knew what my child was allergic to and she was served that food. That is why she vomitted and whole face swelled up. After arriving at hospital, my child vomitted again and it was A LOT of her food allergen that was ingested. They did not watch my child properly so that is the Truth!
