We are a very natural styled child care, combining elements of Montessori and traditional teaching methods, to create a nurturing and home style environment optimal for your most precious asset...your child. Over 25 years experience. What goes in affects what comes out! We proudly serve organic fruits and vegitables , and grass fed beef,bison, elk, pork , and free range chicken. Infant food is fresh steamed and puréed. Happy tummys make happy toddlers!! :). We have an early reading program for toddlers preparing for preschool. We have a small community garden on property that the kiddos help with. We are putting in a fairy circle ( wooden stumps of various heights to hop), a tire and cob dragon, and a huge bird nest to play in for 2016.
We walk to South Lake Park and Overland Park Farmers Market when weather permits. Nothing like picking out peaches for lunch and feeding the ducks on the way home! :o) Typical toddler day includes learning circle, story time, arts and crafts, checking the garden ( and snitching!), walks, fine motor activities ( play dough, cutting, crafts etc.), large motor skills( running, jumping, hopping etc.)

I want to work as taking care of kids just a part time from3:30 to 5:30
Our daughter has been enrolled at Enchanted Garden Daycare since she was about 16 months old. She's now 3 1/2 and we've LOVED having her there. All of the kids love Marla and she does an amazing job of creating wonderful activities that allow them to learn and have fun at the same time. Our daughter always enjoys their trips to the park and the Farmers Market, and she always has fun when they plant their garden each year and take care of the vegetables as they grow!
We really cannot recommend Enchanted Garden enough. I've been constantly amazed at how much our daughter learns every day and it's such a joy to know and work with Marla. An absolutely wonderful daycare!
