I have toured this provider's facility, but have not used its services

Seems like a pretty decent place to send your child w/ the exception of being understaffed....but my experience has been a headache. On July, 24th I registered my son for child care. He never ended up not attending. I paid a $65 registration fee, and a tuition fee of $175. I have called endlessly, it has been two weeks now. Every time I call the owner is never there...she's "in and out" throughout the day. My question is why is there only one person handling money if you guys are supposed to be running a professional business? And I don't expect to get the registration money back. I do expect the $175 back for "child care", as stated on the receipt I was given. Why should "The Children Port" be able to keep my money for a service that I never received?

I am an employee

I worked here for a little while and it was dirty and very unprofessional. There were bugs in the classrooms the owner and director yelled and snatched on the kids and the owner do not like to pay. The food that we had to give to the kids was horrible fruit was going bad and the kids did not learn anything

Do not leave your child here!! The owner has no knowledge of child growth and development. Supplies are in short supply and sometimes totally lacking (eating utensils, clean linen, food...). Bugs can be found in the classrooms. Meals go from can to microwave and portion sizes are often not enough for even the toddlers. Staff turnover is continuous due to poor management.

I went in to enroll my daughter, lets just say it was a HORRIBLE experience. I would strongly suggest that no one bring their kids here. The staff was really rude, for no reason. I was not greeted at the door. The director got mad because I was reading their reviews while I was sitting there(which I'm glad I did). She stated, "If you want to look at the reviews you can do that on your own time". I left and glad I won't be spending my money in there.

On several occassions clean linen is not available for your child during nap time. Breakfast is not served all the time. Lunch is served late in the afternoon. Kids are not always served all the food groups for a balanced lunch. Kids are served expired milk. There is not enough employees to watch children in infant, toddler, preschool, nor after care room. The playground is outdated and not regularly treated for pests. Restrooms for all the children is not available. The director is never available for communication. The state has cited daycare on several issues because the director is incompetent and does not follow policies.
