TLC Kids Care is a Christian Preschool & Kindergarten directed by Associate Pastor Tracey Mercer. She has over 25 years experience in preschool direction. All teachers are certified and TLC Kids Care is certified through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). Tracey is also an inspector for ACSI and a dynamic speaker and presenter for ACSI conferences.
Tracey is an instructor with Flagler Adult Ed, and offers early Childhood Development classes here at TLC Kids Care every Monday evening from 6-10:00 p.m. She is ordained as a pastor through "TLC" The Living Cornerstone.

If I could give this learning enter a 0 I would due to whom the director is and how she runs the school. The director Tracey Mercer is unprofessional and rude and is very abrasive and a true bully to small children and beings as i worked there i was able to witness it all first hand. I reported an injury to Mrs Mercer that my child claimed her teacher caused, after explaining that my child told me her teacher pinched her butt i asked to review video and after watching and seeing this teacher put her hand up my childs shorts on the playground i told Mrs Mercer I wanted something done about it. She basically tried getting me to agree it was an accident and that the teacher was only pulling my daughters diaper out of her butt and accidentally nipped my child leaving her a decent size bruise, i told her after watching the video i didn't believe it was an accident at all and apparently that is frowned upon in Tracey Mercers school. If it was a so called accident why was it not reported as an accident in an accident report and why was i never informed it was an accident since i worked there and was available any time for her to let me know she "accidentally" hurt my baby? She never once said anything till i found the bruise and requested the video to see how it was caused! After seeing the director was obviously not going to take action i called dcf and the police, beings as the police could not see the initial pinch due to my daughters shorts covering her hand, and since the teacher was claiming it was an accident there was nothing they could do as far as proving she intentionally harmed my child. The said teacher i guess also had a "witness" to her "pulling a wedge out of my toddlers butt" which just so happened to be her neighbor teacher which was apparent they were super close friends. The "witness" is also a teacher i would never allow to watch my child just by seeing and hearing how she is with her small children in her class so it was no surprise she just so happened to be a witness to it all! The detective also said the director also informed him that the teacher had NEVER had a complaint against her so that also played a factor in this teacher getting away with bruising my child. My heart was broken, I felt i had let my daughter down, I walked away from this first time experience with daycare never wanting to ever put my child in daycare again because of Mrs Mercer and how she handled this situation. After all this about 3 weeks ago i was shopping in WalMart and bumped into a teacher by the name of Maria, she had only been at the school for maybe 3 weeks before never seeing her return to TLC, she had explained to me she was in a teachers room helping out and had turned in a teacher for inappropriate behavior towards the children and after filing the complaint with Mrs Mercer the very next day Mrs Mercer fired her saying she wasn't a "fit" for her school. She told me she saw a child hit another child and the teacher told the other child to hit the child back who hit him and after the child hit the other child back the teacher then picked the child up that first hit the other child and slammed him into his seat which made the child start crying. She claimed the teacher was Mrs. Kristy who worked with the two-three year olds, right at that moment i knew beings as she was the same teacher i had turned in that the director had LIED to the detective saying this teacher had never had a complaint against her and was covering up abuse caused by this teacher. Not only did she lie and cover for this teacher but she is allowing her to continue to work with these small children knowing what she is doing to these children. I wish i had known about what Maria witnessed and was telling me as i would have turned it into the police, then maybe just maybe this teacher would have been charged with hurting my toddler and stopped from hurting any other children and it also would have exposed the director for lying about never having a complaint against the teacher. She should have been stopped after Maria turned in her complaint because then my child and I never would of went through this awful experience, I am 110% sure that making money for the school is Mrs Mercers #1 priority and not the safety of these young innocent children, she should be removed as the director and someone who cares about these children should be running this school.
