It shall be in the original container with a child resistant cap, not have an expired date and be labeled with the child's name. (Aspirin substitutes, such as ibuprofen and acetaminophen, may be provided by the facility if parental permission has been granted. These medications shall be in the original container.) Staff shall not dispense medications in dosages that exceed the recommendations stated on the medication bottle.
200.201.5.The facility shall provide a copy of the Kindergarten Readiness Skills Calendar or Checklist, prepared by the Arkansas Department of Education (copies can be requested online, by phone, or by mail from the DHS DCCECE Program Support Unit), to the parents of all three and four year old children enrolled. (Act 825 of 2003) A statement, signed by the parent, that they have received a copy of the list shall be maintained in the childs record.
