Description: Stages is an early childhood learning center that offers opportunities for independent growth for children. Stages provide children with the foundation needed for success. Our program is designed to develop a child mentally, socially, physically and academically based on their individual level and need. Here at Stages, we are committed to increasing our level of quality through awareness, enrichment and professionalism. Originally established in 1997 as an after school tutoring program for students K-5, Mrs. Williams, a Mercer University graduate, provided homework assistance, enjoyable activities, holiday and extended care in a safe environment which provided a piece of mind for their families. The after school program grew into a full day in-home childcare program in 2000. Mrs. Williams realized that there was a great need for small group learning centers that cater to the individual child and the different ways in which children learn. “Understanding that every child is unique and special, it’s our job as educators to recognize and teach them according to the way they learn best. By doing so we can ensure that each child reaches their full potential and become a successful learner.”

I volunteered at Stages ELEC and found that all of the employees there were very caring and truly cared about the well being of children. They have created a great learning environment and you can be assured that your child is in safe, trustworthy surroundings while in their care.
