This provider treats parents poorly across the board.  They offer private preschool, but publish no hours comparable to the public school system as to commence times and holiday hours staff offer inconsistent information.  The director is verbally abusive and calls parents names when inquiring on these valid points.   This facility needs an immediate State evaluation formally for its poor conduct and sloppy practices.   You can’t carte blanc treat people terribly and expect nothing to happen.  These are children we need to protect.

The infant teacher let a 4 month old scream in her crib in the corner because she didn’t feel like holding her and she needed to get used to daycare. Their “cleaning” of the baby dolls was spraying Lysol on top of them. If the 1 year olds didn’t sit at a table consistently and eat their snack, it got taken away. They told the 2 and 3 year olds that if they didn’t behave and stop crying, their mommy didn’t want them anymore. And one little boy was scared of Pete the cat. So when he misbehaved, they would very violently put him in time out and tell him Pete was coming to take him from his mommy and daddy

This place is absolutely amazing!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a 2 year old that is here from 6:30am until 4pm. and a 4 yr old who goes before and after pre-k.  They feed them both breakfast take the 4 year old to pre-k feed the 2 yr old lunch and they both get an afternoon snack.  My kids have been going for about 5 months and my 2 yr old talks more, has more social skills and motor skills already.  She loves going to "school" as she says.  I can go to work everyday and know that my children are well cared for

In my search for a place to take care of my son after PRE K hours, I visited SWA and picked up an enrollment packet. I was very pleased with the level of energy within the staff that takes care of the children. They have a clean, new looking place that is well cared for. However, I DID NOT enroll my child here for after school care for the simple fact that they do not carry liability insurance. If something happens to your child, whether it be something your child does, neglect, abuse (God forbid, they have no insurance to cover it. In the enrollment packet, there is a page that you sign stating that you understand they do not carry the coverage (back of the very last page). I understand that this coverage is expensive, but they charge pretty much the same amount that other liability insurance carrying places do charge (I was quoted $40/wk for after school care at SWA). To me, it sounds like a business decision and my child's best interest isn't taken into consideration. I understand that it isn't a requirement to carry this insurance, but it definitely made my decision easier.
