Description: Shamrock is located at the entrance to the beautiful Oakland park which is surrounded by oak trees, ponds, evergreens, wildflowers and of course, a very attractive playground. Shamrock Montessori follows Maria Montessori's method which is a multi-sensorial approach to education. Shamrock Montessori Center is now in its 26th year, still under the direction of the original owner, an AMS-certified Montessori teacher. It is licensed by the State of Michigan for 28 children ages 2-1/2 to 5 years. Shamrock Montessori Center is a small community. It is a place where all the families come together to celebrate diversity. Shamrock offer an enriched curriculum including practical life and sensorial exercises, mathematics, language, social skills, science, geography, and art. Also, outdoor play every day weather permitting, gardening in the summer, music and movement, and Spanish from a native speaker.
