There were 8 children present in garage daycare area upon arrival of worker. One was biological three year old of provider.

Plan: Provider will ensure that hazards are fixed prior to moving children to back house that is licensed for child care. Provider will in the future act to fix hazards as they appear. Provider will ensure that children clean up after themselves to ensure there are no tripping hazards during play. Provider will clear exits to ensure easy access in case of emergency.

Description: 340:110-3-85(a)(9) - Hazards. The caregiver recognizes and acts to correct hazards to children's safety, both indoors and outdoors.

The daycare located in the back househad many hazards that provider did not act to fix . Such as toys that posed tripping hazard due to small area of play and number of children present. Totes that were stacked three totes high posing a fall risk, and second emergencies exit being hard to reach due to toys, a recliner, small vacuum and a train table.
