I have used this provider for more than 6 months

I have had my grandaughter in this daycare for almost a year, it was the best choice of daycare for my grandaughter. The structured schedule, the very friendly staff, the healthy meals, the great activities. Ms Lorena would send me pics of my granddaughters activities and always kept me updated on what was going on. The staff worked really hard at helping my grandaughter get ready for kindergarten, practicing her name, numbers, colors and alphabet. My schedule varied form day to day and it was never an issue, I always kept the daycare updated and they were always accommodating. With the staff speaking both english and spanish my grandaughter has picked up a few words of spanish and she enjoys letting me know when she has learned a new one. My granddaughter is a picky eater but no at the daycare, for some reason she ate almost everything that was made for her. The activities time is my granddaughter favorite she is so into art and they let her express herself. I'm saddened that my grandaughter starts school this year and will no longer need to go to this daycare, she will miss it terribly. Thank you ladies for being so good with her and taking such great care of her!!!!

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

Lorena and the staff at Sani's Daycare have been an extension of our family for more than 3 years. I have had several kids (5+) attend this daycare in this time. As a Foster family, it can be difficult to find a daycare that will be flexible to the needs of kids in their care and also understand the regulations of the state; accommodating visit supervisors, social workers etc. Sani's Daycare has gone above and beyond for us in this regard. Each of our kids has unique needs and the staff treat all of the kids as unique individuals. They go out of their way to make the time spent there a learning time and an enriching one. They provide homework support, VERY healthy meals and their day care area is very clean. I highly recommend Sani's daycare to any parent seeking a care situation that is a bit more intimate and family-oriented than a daycare center but with all of the structure of one. Thank you Sani's!

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

I used this provider for three years, and through two children of my five children (I've used a lot of daycares in my time as a parent). I can't say enough great things about this daycare and it's owner. She is routine, kind, firm and really cares for her children. She provides a loving and learning environment and makes delicious home cooked meals for the children. My son, who never eats, would always rave about what Ms. Lorena made for lunch. She is always careful to follow licensing guidelines, which I appreciate. Her long term staff member has been a blessing to my children and is the sweetest, kindest lady ever. I completely trusted that while my children at this daycare, they were loved and safe and looked after. The owner would send me random pictures of fun things they were doing. And on hard mornings during drop off, she'd send a photo later of a smiling kiddo so I knew all was better. We have not needed childcare for about 6 months now, and my children still ask all the time to stop in and say hello because they miss it so much! I would absolutely recommend this daycare!

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

Sani’s childcare was the best thing that happend for our family. I was getting ready to go back to work without having any childcare lined up. By the time I was done with the tour I had already made my mind that this was where I felt safe with my kids. I Love their structure and how clean the place is, how amazingly warm the environment is, as well as all the good vibes that we all are looking for our little ones. Ms. Lorena also exposes the kids to a second language(Spanish). I think it’s a great idea that shes bilingual. She also takes the time to explain to parents what we need to do to reinforce at home. I highly recommend Ms. Lorena

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

I really didn't want to believe the previous reviews, but they're true. Lorena is so focused on being upstairs in the her room on the computer or out of the house running errands so she is only actually with the kids in the mornings until about 8:30 and then for lunch time. She hires teachers that have fast turnover. 1 has been there a long time, but there have been at least 14 additional teachers that have came and gone. Her quality of crafts is very low, receives state funding for the kids food and refuses to give kids extra when they ask - she then gives the leftovers to her husband and own kids to eat. After a while my kids begged me not to take them back to the daycare. She does not feed them healthy snacks, only canned fruit in syrup - nothing fresh. In the 2+ years I've known her she only criticizes and complains about my kids, never compliments them or helps their self esteem. She talked a good talk and pretends she does a lot for the kids but she's one that knows how to smooth talk BS. She is out for the business piece of childcare only, she doesn't seem to care about children's wellbeing. Also the garage is very small and that's where the kids spend the majority of their time. In the summer, she refuses to turn on the A/C all the time and would often pick up my kids clammy, sweaty and flushed. I've never seen them have water available. Only two times a day at meals. I would not recommend this daycare as it's a business for her, not a daycare for the children's best interest.

I am an employee

I worked for Lorena (Sani's childcare). She is NEVER there at the facility. When she is she inforces rules like feeding moldy old food to kids by cutting around the mold. She has her employee's lie on accident reports to say accidents between kids were provoked by the victim. The daycare during the summer gets up to 90 degrees inside with no air flow. There is a huge hitting-biting-punching problem that goes on there and even the most mellow kids pick up on the behavior. I would never recommend this daycare. I quit because I couldn't handle working in a corrupt environment and because of that the facility is withholding my final check.

I absolutely love Sani's childcare, its a very clean and safe environment. Miss Lorena and her assistance are very attentive with the kids, she makes home cooked meals on a daily, she has a very good schedule that she follows, there is always new activities for the kids. My kids love Sani's, they're always happy when I pick them up. Its a great place over all!

I have never written a review about a childcare center and am also not an overly sensitive parent, but this is a review everyone seeking childcare and looking at Sani's Daycare should consider. We started our child there and loved it. Then about 2 months down the road everything started to crumble. First off Lorena is seldomly there. She was when we first began taking our child but then hired another teacher so she could do other things throughout the day. In the 7 months we were there there were 2 teachers that came and left. Another problem was one of the teachers that works the most had a hard time keeping control of the children. Something that Lorena told us she was aware of and that her child thought was a push over as well. When Lorena wasn't staying at the center as much there was always an issue we were informed about when we came to pick up our child. Either he was being bitten, pushed, or he bit another child. The toddler to school age children have no schedule. There is no schedule of what activities they do throughout the day (circle time, show and tell, story time, themes of the month). The center is an enclosed 2 car garage so on days with inclement weather the children have a very small space to play and do activities to keep them busy. I think because of this it caused alot of problems and accident reports of children pushing and biting. Biting is a HUGE issue here. Our child was bitten when he started and started biting back. When he bit we would have to come pick him up for the day causing major inconvience and time off work. You also have to give her a set schedule of exact times you will be dropping your children off. If your work hours vary even with an hour difference your met with resisitance from Lorena. I will say it is a very clean place, she does cook good meals, and provides fresh fruit. I wish I had better things to say about Sani's but, an in home daycare we thought was going to be a blessing for our child turned into a stressful nightmare. Just seeing my chid in a new environment with structure, more activites, and thriving only makes me feel guilty for not doing it much sooner. After this experience I learned we were not the only family that had this experience and I wish I had know earlier.

The best childcare experience I have ever had. The center and Miss Lorena's house is extremely clean and she makes home cooked meals for the children everyday. One of our biggest blessings has been finding her and having someone so wonderful and patient with children watching our child.
