Description: Built in 1978, Rolling Hills has been nestled in the quiet community of northern Rancho Penasquitos for over 20 years. The students and staff take pride in our well maintained campus of 21 classrooms, 5 EBs, multipurpose room and lunch area, Learning Resource Center with approximately 18,000 books and 8 computer stations, and 40 computer stations in the Pat Yavno Learning Center .
In the summer of 2002 renovations were started to update our campus. The exterior walls received fresh paint, phone lines have been added to the classrooms, and during the summer of 2003 new carpet and tile was installed. Additionally, through the volunteer efforts of community members, murals representing the four regions of California are being added to our exterior, inner quad walls. We also have a beautiful Literacy Garden that boasts some of the most hearty plants, thanks to the hard work and dedication of our resident volunteer gardner.
